About EcoTrough
A practical new approach to cable management, designed around the project and ready for its next phase.
About EcoTrough
Cable management that follows the project.
EcoTrough® is a new British-manufactured modular polymer cable trough system developed by EcoTrough, a division of Captrad. It is designed to protect and route power, control and communications cables while offering a lighter, adaptable alternative to conventional concrete troughing.
EcoTrough has undergone initial testing, with further testing planned. Contact us for current evidence relevant to your proposed use.
What matters
Practical benefits from the first plan.
Designed to make cable routes easier to specify, move and install while leaving room for change.
British manufacture
Developed and produced in Britain as a modular cable trough system for infrastructure projects.
Lighter handling
Polymer construction can ease transportation, distribution and positioning on site.
A connected system
Compatible straight sections, bends, junctions and covers support complex routes.
Built to adapt
Extend or reconfigure a cable route as equipment and site plans evolve.

From drawing to testing
Precision in every connection.
EcoTrough is being developed using precision tooling to support consistent dimensions and a reliable fit between modules. The interlocking design is intended to simplify assembling a route on site.
Its lower weight can reduce reliance on lifting plant and simplify distribution around restricted or remote locations. The right installation approach still depends on your route, covers and ground conditions.
